Release the status page as 1.0, build a development variant, then ship 1.1 and clean up what an earlier rebuild left behind.

Start by looking at what is already there:

Build the release with two tags in one command:

Build the development image from Dockerfile.dev in the same context:

Open Dockerfile, change ENV APP_VERSION=1.0.0 to 1.1.0, press Save, and build the new release. latest moves; 1.0 stays on the old image:

docker build -t status-page:1.1 -t status-page:latest .
docker images

Find the untagged image and remove it:

docker images -f dangling=true
docker image prune
