market-web runs four replicas across the cluster. peaks-node-2 is due for maintenance:

kubectl cordon peaks-node-2
kubectl get nodes

Scale the Deployment to six and check where the two new Pods land. Then drain the node:

kubectl scale deploy market-web --replicas=6 -n peaks-16n6orq
kubectl drain peaks-node-2 --ignore-daemonsets --delete-emptydir-data
kubectl get pods -n peaks-16n6orq -o wide

A bare Pod named scratch with an emptyDir is also on that node, so drain will tell you what else it needs. When the node is empty, reopen it:

kubectl uncordon peaks-node-2
