~/broken-1gykagh/ holds three Deployment manifests. None of them applies cleanly.
ls ~/broken-1gykagh
kubectl apply -f ~/broken-1gykagh/web.yaml -n anatomy-1gykagh
kubectl apply -f ~/broken-1gykagh/api.yaml -n anatomy-1gykagh
kubectl apply -f ~/broken-1gykagh/worker.yaml -n anatomy-1gykaghEach error names the problem. The three kinds you will meet:
A YAML error. The message quotes a line and column. Indentation in YAML is structure: a key indented two spaces more than its siblings becomes a child of the previous key, or is rejected as unparseable.
spec:
containers: ← 7 spaces: the parser cannot place this key
- name: wAn unknown kind. no matches for kind "Deploymnet" means the API server has no such type. Compare with kubectl api-resources.
A validation error. selector does not match template labels means spec.selector.matchLabels and spec.template.metadata.labels differ. The ReplicaSet would never find the Pods it creates, so the server refuses it.
Fix each file in place:
vim ~/broken-1gykagh/web.yamlor with sed, then apply again. When all three are Running, answer the last objective.
kubectl get deploy -n anatomy-1gykagh
