market-alb forwards to the shop's web servers in web-tg by default. The API runs on its own server, in api-tg. A colleague added a rule to send the API there, and since then the shop's honey page, /apiary, is broken.
- Keep the load balancer's ARN in
LB, its listener's ARN inLISTENER, the two target groups' ARNs inTGandAPI_TG, and its DNS name inDNS. - Fetch
/apiary,/apiand/api/itemsthrough the load balancer and see where each one goes. List the listener's rules. - Fix the API rule so that
/apiand everything under/api/reach the API server, and/apiaryreaches the shop again. - The admin pages are closed for maintenance:
/adminshould get a503with an HTML page sayingBack soon, answered by the load balancer itself. - Carts live in the web servers' memory. Keep each browser on one web server for an hour, and check it with a cookie jar.
