~/plains-j8pjbl/api.yaml describes market-api with 3 replicas of the API image :v1 and the default strategy.

Add a strategy block with type: Recreate under spec, apply the file, then roll the image to :v2 with kubectl set image and run kubectl get pods -n plains-j8pjbl immediately: every old Pod is Terminating at once. That moment is Recreate.

Then change the strategy block to this, set the file's image to :v2, and apply:
