Release 4.2 passes on a developer laptop and crashes on the server app-01. Both machines wrote an environment report to ~/reports.
Read the incident and compare the two reports:
sh
cat ~/reports/incident.txt
diff ~/reports/laptop.txt ~/reports/server.txtCheck whether this host has Node.js at all:
It does not. Run Node.js 20 from an image instead. The first run pulls the image, then prints the version:
sh
docker run --rm node:20-alpine node --versionNow run the server's major version by changing only the tag:
sh
docker run --rm node:18-alpine node --versionBoth images are now stored locally. The host still has no node:
sh
docker images
node --version
