Four containers were created on pier this morning. Find out which are running and which one failed.

List the running containers, then all of them:

Read the STATUS column: Up is running, Exited (N) is stopped with exit code N.

Save one NAME STATUS line per container:

docker ps -a --format '{{.Names}} {{.Status}}' > ~/status.txt

Save the names of the stopped containers only:

docker ps -a --filter status=exited --format '{{.Names}}' > ~/exited.txt

Check both with cat ~/status.txt ~/exited.txt.
