A container named site runs nginx, but nothing on the host can reach it. Publish nginx properly.
See what is running and what it publishes:
The PORTS column for site shows nothing. Ask the host for a port nobody publishes:
sh
curl localhost:8081Run a second nginx with host port 8080 forwarding to container port 80, then test it:
sh
docker run -d --name web -p 8080:80 nginx:1.27
curl -s localhost:8080Read the mapping Docker created:
Finally give site a host port. A mapping cannot be added to an existing container, so recreate it:
sh
docker rm -f site
docker run -d --name site -p 8081:80 nginx:1.27
curl -s localhost:8081
