The volume orders-data in us-east-1a holds the order history. The team wants a copy that a server in us-east-1c could use.

1. Keep the volume's id in VOL:

   VOL=$(aws ec2 describe-volumes --filters Name=tag:Name,Values=orders-data --query "Volumes[0].VolumeId" --output text)

2. Take a snapshot of it described as nightly, and check it until it is completed.

3. Create a gp3 volume named orders-copy from the snapshot in us-east-1c.
